megaupload and megavideo shut down (hopefully temporarily)

I know I still have episode 26 to take care of, which I have every intention of doing,
even though I've shut down my youtube channel (Well not erased, but probably will be erased soon by viacom)
Anywho, Megauploade and megavideo have been deleted of the internets, even though SOPA has not been passed. As you know, megaupload is what I've been using in replacement of youtube not allowing me to upload my winx comparisons for season 3. I am hoping, since megaupload is on the top 20 most visited sites of all time apparently, that they should be up and running again soon enough, but we'll find out. In the mean time I don't really have another alternative or the time reupload all the current videos to somewhere else. So I'm going to wait a couple weeks to see if Megaupload comes back before moving yet again. and to all few of you who may still be following me, thankyou very much for following me and I hope I wrap this up sooner or later.

Which by the way, anyone else notice that Nickeloden hasn't released anymore Winx info or previews as of late, except for the first winx mocie camio in their 2012 preview commercial dealy. I am assuming that means they plan on airing secret of the lost kingdom before airing season 4 which would be cool and make the story make a tad more sense, though admitedly we don't really see much connection from the first movie to season 4, like no trix, no ancient witches, no domino kingdom, however there is still some aspects like bloom having full enchantix and being able to miniturize and the whole king sky thing, plus the appearance of couple of the movie songs. Which for the love of bacon wrapped bacon, I hope they do re-record the songs that Musa and later on Bloom + Musa sing, because, though I don't know how it was in Italian, the rai english songs don't match up well with the voices, and when Musa and Bloom are singing duets, their singing voices are the exact same, due to the fact that they slap over an originally solo sung song over it. But we'll see. Musa's nick voice of course played one of Hannah Montana's rivals or something and apprently sings very well so I hope they incorperate her voice into that, and Molly Quinn too, I've seen a vid of her singing and she sounds cool.

I've always like that song at the end "We're back again, we've got stories to tell you
We're back again, come and join our adventure" It was also in Rai English Season 2
Episode 1, which in that place the lyrics made a bit more sense, but its cool none the
less.  I have to say though, the shields the girls used in this episode seemed a tad more
cheaply animated than other shields they've used before, and anyone else notice
that when Bloom is using her fairy dust, for one shot they show her holding a water star
instead of her fairy dust pendant? Anywho, otherwise it was cool and Nickelodeon
dub has been amazing all season, yeah they had that one episode with the random
fuzzy music/sfx but otherwise really good. And one more episode to go!!

I liked the fairy dust music, I was mistaken, it was actualy the fairy dust music that was here when

And another episode bites the dust. three more to go.
This one, there was a couple different clips I originaly wanted to show,
which I prepare the rai english clips first before prepairng the 4kids ones, and
when I got to going through the 4kids video, the audio was a bit screwey in a couple
places, one being a scene I wanted to show where Valotr appears in the Sky over
Magix. Oh well, that's life. The Fairy Dust music that shows up in this episode and
then again in episode 25, one of my fav music cues of Season 3 yet, and of course
I am talking only of Rai and Nick dubs since 4kids replaced all the music, and actualy
cut out most of the fairy dust sequences, which one could always argue that they are
pointless to an extent and just like many magic girl anime, like Sailor moon is famous
for this, she usualy has a final attack that involves her twerling around and swinging her
wand around for 30 seconds until actualy attacking the monster whom in reality should
have fled by then. But I do like the imagery of the fairy dust sequences, and that never
hurt anyone, but I don't blame 4kids for removing them. For the most part we only get
to see parts of Stella's fairy dust animation in 4kids except for one episode a while
back that did show a small portion of each of their animations. But at the very least the
music in the Rai/Nick/Italian versions of Winx for Fairy dust in general is well composed,
I've always love that kiud of sound with the 'oooooh' voices, and as long as it isn't used
obessively it could give a nice effect to certain scenes. Anywho that's it for now, I'll try
to rap up this series sooner than later.

This is one of my favourite episodes of season 3, actualy the rest of the season is really really
good from here on out, I liked this season even better than season 4, though season 4 is
a close 2nd for sure. I don't know if its just something on my end, but both 4kids and
Nick voice of Arcadia, the first fairy lady person, her voice, or rather the reverb effect
they put on her voice really makes her voice over volume the other voices to larger
extent than necessary, though perhaps that just has something to do with my speakers
or something, who knows. But silly Cinelume. While the voice for Musa she is a good
actress and I've seen her in a couple of Canadian shows from the past, but her voice
sounds too old for Musa, which I may have already mentioned before, but its just funny
to have her voice sound older than her mother's voice, which yes her mother is younger than
she would be if she was still alive, but still older than Musa is now, unless she had kids when she was very very very young. Anywho, that Musa voice, she also does the voice of Bloom's mom, if you haven't noticed, she's not credited as such, but its fairly evident, in season 4 especialy when the Winx girls are all hanging out at bloom's house. I think she also voices one of the Ancestral witches in the upcoming episodes. Anyway, I always forgot that continuity error, where in this episode they receive 3 water stars, then the next episode they have 5 all of a suddon. Oh well, wouldn't be the first continuity error, but Rainbow did improve, and especialy  season 4 only had a couple minor errors, like showing Musa believix transform when she wasn't even in the fight. But Otherwise it was pretty solid in that depratment. Season 5 I have a feeling will be even stronger now with Nickelodeon influences but we'll have to see. I'm starting to wonder if they are even going to air The secret of the lost kingdom (a.k.a first movie) before showing season 4 on Nickelodeon. One source says Season 4 starts February 6, but its getting well into January and we have yet to see any furthur Winx commercials and I'd imagine they would be doing good advertising for the movie if they were to air it right away, oh well I'm sure we'll get it eventually anyway. That's all thats on my mind for now

Winx Club Dub Comparison Season 3 episode 20

Alright, I am getting there. Here is episode 20 and episode 21 is coming soon too. I have a 3 day weekend coming up and I'm hoping that will allow me to wrap up this project. This episode personally I wasn't too fond of. Yeah the Pixies are cool and all but I could have lived without it. I can't remember my pop pixie timeline off hand, but I wonder if they were using this episode to see if there was any audience out there for a Pixie focused show, or pheraps the idea strang from that. If I remember correctly, Pop Pixie aired in Italy around the same-ish time as season 4 Winx no? I can't remember, I might be wrong, who knows.  Interesting note though with Winx in general. I was looking at IMDB the other day and looking up the Nick cast. And, for both Darcy and Nabu they have listed the same voice actors as the 2004 (4kids dub) and 2011 (Nick dub). Now that could easily be just incorrect information or an accidental assumption on someone's part or something. And I did look at a couple episodes, the Nabu thing seemed plausable but Darcy sounds really different from 4kids to Nick, however a lot of cartoons will have one person voice multiple characters and successfully sound different from one another. And Nickelodeon of course, has been directing the voice cast in general in a different direction than 4kids did, so its entirly possible that even if its the same voice actress, that each company could be having the voice do the character in a completely different manner. I'd be curious to see what others think of this.
